- The SACLA project team succeeded in producing an X-ray laser with a wavelength of 0.8 Angstroms.

- The SACLA project team succeeded in producing an X-ray laser with a wavelength of 1.0 Angstroms, which is shorter than the first laser of SACLA observed on June 7.

- RIKEN and the Japan Synchrotron Radiation Research Institute (JASRI) have successfully produced the first beam of X-ray laser light with a wavelength of 1.2 Angstroms at the SACLA X-ray Free Electron Laser (XFEL) facility.
The management of the entire SPring-8 campus and the synchrotron radiation research based on SPring-8 are promoted overall.
